Comprehensive Medical Plan
The Hospital of Central Connecticut offers excellent medical plans that provide comprehensive medical, surgical, and prescription drug benefits and encourages a healthy lifestyle and preventive care.
Health Care Reimbursement Plan
To help save on federal taxes, this plan allows employees to have money deducted pre-tax from their paycheck and placed into an account. This plan reimburses health care expenses that are not fully reimbursed by insurance, such as dollars spent on glasses and contact lenses, orthodontia, and certain over-the-counter drugs, to name a few.
Dental benefits are available through traditional dental plan options. The plans give employees the freedom to use any dental provider they wish. Preventive and diagnostic services are covered at 100%. The plans also cover basic and major restorative services with applicable deductible and co-payments. Orthodontia benefits are available in one of dental plan options.
If an employee is unable to work due to illness or injury, The Hospital of Central Connecticut provides a short-term plan for full- and part-time employees to help them meet their financial responsibilities.
