Hospital’s WomenHeart of Central Connecticut support meeting Feb. 25

The Hospital of Central Connecticut’s next WomenHeart of Central Connecticut support network meeting will be held Tuesday, Feb. 25 from 5:30 to 6:45 p.m. at the New Britain General campus, Dining Room B. The free meeting is open to women with heart disease. HOCC psychologist Carrie Lukens, Ph.D., will discuss “Returning to daily activities with a new sense of normalcy.”

The Hospital of Central Connecticut is the first hospital in New England to be a founding member of the WomenHeart National Hospital Alliance. WomenHeart: The National Coalition for Women with Heart Disease is the nation’s only patient-centered organization serving the 42 million American women living with or at risk for heart disease and is dedicated to women’s heart health through patient support, education and advocacy.
