Hospital’s Sleep Disorders Center CPAP support group meets Sept. 23

(New Britain, Conn.) – The Hospital of Central Connecticut’s Sleep Disorders Center CPAP Support Group meeting set for Tuesday, Sept. 23 will feature guest speaker Dr. Barry Spass, a board-certified sleep physician and neurologist.
Spass, who practices at the hospital’s two Sleep Disorders Center locations, will address the topic of sleep disorders and treatment options.
The free CPAP Support Group will meet from 6:30 to 8 p.m. in Lecture Room 2 at the New Britain General campus, 100 Grand St. Donna Cone and Kathy Ebert, RPSGT, are group facilitators. Pre-registration is required and can be made by calling 860-224-5538.
The Sleep Disorders Center, which has locations in New Britain and Southington, provides diagnostic services and treatment for patients with all types of sleep disorders. The Center is accredited by the American Academy of Sleep Medicine, which recognizes demonstrated special knowledge in sleep medicine, experience and competency of the medical and technical staff, physical environment, medical management of patients, and the Center’s technical capabilities.
