Hospital Auxiliary offers scholarships for 2015

The Auxiliary for The Hospital of Central Connecticut-New Britain General campus is now accepting applications for two scholarships for high school seniors interested in careers in health care.

The Kathleen E. Boudreau Scholarship is offering $1,000 for high school seniors interested in pursuing a career in nursing. Seniors in local communities including Berlin, Kensington, New Britain, Newington, Plainville and Southington are eligible to apply. The Gertrude Malcynsky Scholarship is offering $1,000 for seniors at New Britain High School who are interested in pursuing careers in Allied Health. Applications are available at participating high school guidance counselor offices or at the Volunteer Office at The Hospital of Central Connecticut.

The Hospital of Central Connecticut (HOCC) is a 414-bed, 32-bassinet acute care teaching hospital with two campuses, New Britain General and Bradley Memorial in Southington.
