Common heart medications topic of hospital’s June 24 WomenHeart of Central Connecticut meeting

New Britain [June 18 2014] - At The Hospital of Central Connecticut’s Tuesday, June 24 WomenHeart of Central Connecticut support network meeting, a hospital pharmacist will discuss common heart medications and side effects. Bogdan Musial, Pharm.D., will present at the 5:30 to 6:45 p.m. meeting at the New Britain General campus, 100 Grand St., Dining Room B. The free meeting is open to women with heart disease. The Hospital of Central Connecticut is the first hospital in New England to be a founding member of the WomenHeart National Hospital Alliance. WomenHeart: The National Coalition for Women with Heart Disease is the nation’s only patient-centered organization serving the 42 million American women living with or at risk for heart disease and is dedicated to women’s heart health through patient support, education and advocacy.
