Southington H.S. graduate receives scholarship
New Britain [July 18 2006] -
Southington High School graduate Shelli Laliberte was recently awarded the Kathleen Boudreau Scholarship from the New Britain General Hospital Auxiliary. Laliberte will begin nursing school at Quinnipiac University in the fall.
The scholarship was established by Boudreau’s daughter, Marleen Flory of Minnesota, to honor her mother -- a long-serving volunteer and nurse at New Britain General. The scholarship is given to a graduating high school student interested in pursuing a nursing career.
