Special Medicare Event: A Free Counseling Seminar on Medicare Part D
New Britain [February 10 2006] -
The Connecticut Center for Healthy Aging, at New Britain General Hospital, will be offering a “Medicare, Part D” seminar on March 2 from 9:30 a.m. to 2: 30 p.m. The Center for Healthy Aging is partnering with volunteers and staff from the North Central Area Agency on Aging CHOICES Program to give free counseling on the new Medicare Prescription Drug Benefit (Medicare Part D).
The CHOICES volunteers and staff will answer your individual questions on how the new Medicare prescription drug benefit may affect you, and then offer you a Medicare Part D screening to help you determine which plans may be best suited for your particular needs. These services are available by appointment only.
Those attending are asked to bring an accurate and correctly spelled listing of all prescription medicines that you currently take.
Marketing of Medicare Part D plans is strictly prohibited at this event.
Please call ahead to make an appointment with Paula Bonanni, senior resource coordinator at 860-224-5278, no later than Feb. 24. Walk-ins cannot be guaranteed an appointment due to great demand.
