Orchards residents donate blankets to hospital newborns
New Britain [August 10 2012] -
Residents of the Orchards at Southington recently donated dozens of hand-made blankets for newborns in The Hospital of Central Connecticut’s Family BirthPlace. Anne Phelan, director of Volunteer Services at the hospital accepted blankets from Orchards residents Anne Lynch and Lucille Holtham, and Orchards retirement counselor Edesa Ciscar.
