Hospital wins multiple advertising, communications awards
New Britain [May 24 2012] -
The New England Society for Healthcare Communications (NESHCo) recently honored The Hospital of Central Connecticut with six awards for exceptional work in marketing, public relations and communications.
The hospital earned two Silver Lamplighter awards, for a radio commercial promoting its maternity services
, and for a marketing campaign promoting robotic surgery.
The hospital earned four Awards of Excellence, for a maternity services TV commercial
; a video shown at HOCC’s annual Corporators Meeting; the Walk with a Doc program
; and communications for a hospital weight-loss campaign.
The Lamplighter awards were presented at NESHCo’s spring symposium May 17 in Boston. The awards were established to showcase and honor excellence in healthcare communications in the New England region. The 2012 Lamplighters competition included 300 entries from more than 85 organizations throughout the area. Entries were judged by the Carolinas Healthcare Public Relations & Marketing Society.
