Hospital of Central Connecticut Auxiliary Tournament Raises More than $70,600
New Britain [June 26 2009] -
The Hospital of Central Connecticut New Britain General campus Auxiliary’s 19th Annual Golf Tournament raised $70,657 toward the purchase of a maternal fetal ultrasound machine used to perform exams on women with high-risk pregnancies.
The June 9 event drew more than 100 golfers and many enthusiastic volunteers to Tunxis Plantation Country Club in Farmington.
“We are very grateful to the sponsors, players, volunteers and all involved for supporting this event,” said Wendy Lux, executive director of Development for the hospital. “Funds raised through the tournament will help us provide the best prenatal care to mothers and babies who need extra attention.”
