Southington High School Graduate Awarded Hospital Scholarship
New Britain [September 17 2008] -
Southington High School graduate Elizabeth Smith was recently awarded the Kathleen Boudreau Scholarship by The Hospital of Central Connecticut New Britain General campus Auxiliary. Smith is pursuing her nursing degree at Messiah College in Pennsylvania.
The Boudreau scholarship was established by Kathleen Boudreau’s daughter, Marleen Flory of Minnesota, to honor her mother. Boudreau was a long-serving hospital volunteer and LPN. The scholarship is awarded annually to a graduating high school student interested in pursuing a nursing career.
