Moms Invited to Breastfeeding Week Event
New Britain [July 07 2008] -
New and experienced moms are invited to a reception, Friday, Aug. 1 at The Hospital of Central Connecticut, to mark World Breastfeeding Week.
The reception will be 2–4 p.m. in Lecture Room 2 at the New Britain General campus, 100 Grand St. Information from community groups will be available and refreshments will be provided. The first 50 attendees will receive a gift; and a raffle will be held for a basket of products for the breastfeeding mother. For information, call (860) 224-5226.
World Breastfeeding Week, Aug. 1-7, is promoted by the World Alliance for Breastfeeding Action, a global network of individuals and organizations concerned with the protection, promotion and support of breastfeeding worldwide.
