Tip-A-Rock Cats Player Night To Benefit Cancer Research
New Britain [July 02 2008] -
The Hospital of Central Connecticut and the Rock Cats Foundation have teamed up yet again for a Tip-A-Rock Cats Player night on Tuesday, July 22 at Wood-n-Tap restaurant, 420 Queen St., Southington.
In an effort to raise money for the George Bray Cancer Center, a portion of each check, processed between 5 p.m. and close that evening, will be donated to the hospital and the Rock Cats Foundation.
Several Rock Cats players from the local Double A Minnesota Twins affiliate, along with Rocky the Rock Cat will be present. They will be available to meet and greet guests and sign autographs.
The Rock Cats Foundation and Hospital of Central Connecticut look forward to working together to raise money for cancer research. This exciting opportunity is made possible thanks to the Wood-n-Tap restaurant.
