Hospital to Host Free Lecture on Cancer and Nutrition

The Hospital of Central Connecticut’s George Bray Cancer Center will host a lecture, “Fight Cancer with Your Fork!” 7 p.m. May 1 at the New Britain General campus.
Presenter Kim Dalzell, PhD, RD, LD, will discuss how diet and lifestyle changes, combined with medical treatment, can help fight cancer. Dalzell is a registered dietitian and doctor of holistic nutrition, award-winning author, nationally known speaker, and passionate advocate for cancer patients and caregivers.
Light refreshments will be available at 6:30 p.m.; the program begins at 7 p.m. The program is free to the public, but registration is required. Free parking will be available in the Quigley Garage. Call (860) 224-5299 for details or registration.
