Connecticut Center for Healthy Aging Names Manager for Hospital Office
New Britain [January 31 2006] -
Paula Bonanni, RN, BSN, MBA has been hired as senior resource coordinator at Connecticut Center for Healthy Aging, a resource and assessment center, for its new location at New Britain General Hospital.
Bonanni received her BS degree in nursing from the University of Pittsburg, and her MBA with a concentration in management from the University of Connecticut.
Bonanni comes to the Center for Healthy Aging from Saint Francis Hospital, where she was a staff nurse responsible for working as a liaison between nursing councils and nurse manager/staff members; collaborating with the clinical nurse specialist on special safety and patient care projects; and providing instruction for nursing care plans. She recently received the St. Francis “Elements of Excellence Award” for her outstanding work there.
At Center for Healthy Aging, Bonanni will be responsible for providing community seniors and their families with resources and education needed on topics related to aging. She will work closely with senior service providers of the Central Connecticut Health Alliance and the community to ensure each individual receives appropriate services and then schedule those services as needed.
