The ABCs of colon cancer screening

Do you know if you are at high risk for colon cancer?
Gastroenterologist Rosalind Van Stolk, M.D., will raise awareness about colorectal cancer at a lecture entitled “The ABCs of Colon Cancer Screening” on March 20 at The Hospital of Central Connecticut. The program will take place from 6-8 p.m. in Lecture Rooms 1 and 2 on the New Britain General campus.
Van Stolk will explain how individuals can determine whether they should be screened for colon cancer, how to tell if they are in a high risk group, and what steps to take if they are. Following the lecture, Van Stolk and members of the hospital’s gastroenterology staff will be available to answer questions pertaining to colon cancer.
