Sleep Apnea Support Group meeting scheduled
New Britain [February 14 2008] -
A Sleep Apnea Support Group sponsored by the Hospital of Central Connecticut will be held Tuesday February 26, 6:30 – 8:30 p.m. in Lecture Room 1 at the New Britain General campus.
Marc Kawalick, M.D., medical director of the hospital’s Sleep Disorders Center, will discuss, sleep apnea, its diagnosis and treatment. An open forum will provide an opportunity for individuals to learn more about sleep apnea and share experiences related to treatment.
CPAPand BiPAP units and masks will be on display. Respiratory therapists as well as Sleep Disorders Center staff will be available to answer questions. If you are a CPAP/BiPAP user, you may bring your own equipment.
