Hospital of Central Connecticut Physician Recognized by United Way
New Britain [February 04 2008] -
Antoinetta Capriglione, M.D., chief of Pediatrics at The Hospital of Central Connecticut, recently received the Greater Hartford United Way Constitution Society award for her significant financial support of the United Way for the past 10 years.
“It is my privilege to support the United Way,” Capriglione said. “During my career here in New Britain, I have had any number of opportunities to observe, first-hand, all the good this organization does for so many people, right here in our own community.”
Capriglione joined the former New Britain General Hospital in 1980. She earned her medical degree from New York Medical College and completed her pediatric internship and residency at Albert Einstein College of Medicine/Bronx Municipal Hospital Center. She completed two neonatology fellowships, at the George Washington University Hospital and the Albert Einstein College of Medicine/Bronx Municipal Hospital Center.
