Gastroenterologist Joins New Britain General & Bradley Memorial Hospitals
New Britain [May 16 2006] -
Harjot Gill, MD, has joined the staffs of New Britain General and Bradley Memorial Hospitals. Dr. Gill, a gastroenterologist, brings her particular interest in treating gastrointestinal disorders in women to the practice of Digestive Disease Consultants, PC, with offices in New Britain and Southington.
Most recently, Dr. Gill completed her fellowship in the department of gastroenterology and hepatology at the University of Connecticut Health Center, where she was chief gastroenterology fellow, in December 2005.
Dr. Gill received her medical degree from Ramaiah Medical College in Bangalore, India in 1995 and went on to serve her internship and residency in internal medicine at the UConn Health Center. While a clinical research fellow in the department of gastroenterology at the Health Center, she participated in research studies on the treatment of Hepatitis C.
Dr. Gill is board certified in internal medicine and will be board certified in gastroenterology in October 2006.

Dr. Gill resides in West Hartford with her husband and daughter.
