Auxiliary Fulfills $1 Million Pledge to Hospital
Southington [November 12 2007] -
The Hospital of Central Connecticut New Britain General campus Auxiliary presented hospital President Laurence A. Tanner with a ceremonial $1 million check at the Auxiliary’s Annual Chrysanthemum Ball Nov. 3.
The check represented funds the Auxiliary has raised over the past five years to help refurbish the hospital’s cardiac catheterization suite, which opened in late 2005.
Hundreds attended the ball, held at the Aqua Turf Club in Southington.
Presenting the check were Frances Russell and Susan Venberg, former Auxiliary presidents; current President Barbara Kirejczyk; and Lisa King and Annette Salina, Chrysanthemum Ball co-chairs.
