Sleep Apnea Support Group Meeting Scheduled
New Britain [October 02 2007] -
A Sleep Apnea Support Group sponsored by the Hospital of Central Connecticut will be held Tuesday Oct. 30, 6:30-8:30 p.m. in Lecture Room 1 at the New Britain General campus.
The support group meetings provide an opportunity for individuals to learn more about sleep apnea, therapy and treatment options. Participants are invited to share experiences related to treatment.
CPAPand BiPAP units and masks will be on display. Respiratory therapists as well as Sleep Disorders Center staff will be available to answer questions. If you are a CPAP/BiPAP user, you may bring your own equipment.
During the Oct. 30 meeting, Doctor Susan Rubman, PhD., board-certified in behavioral sleep medicine, will give a lecture titled “Spring Ahead and Fall Back to Sleep.”
