Neonatologist Named Director of Nurseries
New Britain [June 27 2007] -
Scott Weiner, M.D., of Cheshire has been named director of nurseries at The Hospital of Central Connecticut.
In his new position, Dr. Weiner will oversee both the Newborn Nursery and the Special Care Nursery at the hospital’s Ferdinand Sauer MD Family BirthPlace.
Dr. Weiner, a neonatologist, joined the hospital in 2006. He earned his medical degree from the Sackler School of Medicine in Tel Aviv, Israel, completed his internship and residency in pediatrics at Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York City and a fellowship in neonatal-perinatal medicine at Yale University School of Medicine.
Antoinetta Capriglione, M.D., continues to serve as chief of pediatrics at the hospital.
