Free Lecture on Vascular Conditions, Treatments

Conditions and treatments of the body’s blood vessels will be the subject of a free talk, 6:30 p.m., Wednesday, June 20 at The Hospital of Central Connecticut, New Britain General campus cafeteria.
The talk, “Inside your highways and byways,” will feature M.D.s Kevin Dickey, Robert Napoletano and Manny Katsetos, specialists with the hospital’s Vascular Center. The physicians will discuss some common and potentially dangerous vascular conditions, including peripheral vascular disease and abdominal aortic aneurysms, as well as treatment options that can include lifestyle modification, medication and surgical techniques.
The lecture is part of the hospital’s Health Wisdom Lecture Series. Refreshments will be served at 6:15 p.m., followed by the program. The lecture is free, but reservations are required. For more information and to reserve a seat, call 1-888-224-4440.
