“Pink in the Park” day at Rock Cats game for breast cancer awarenes
New Britain [April 26 2007] -
The Hospital of Central Connecticut and Connecticut Breast Health Initiative will hold “Pink in the Park” day at the New Britain Rock Cats game Sunday, May 6 to promote breast cancer awareness.
The first 1,500 women and girls through the entrance gate for the 1:35 p.m. game will receive a free pink Rock Cats hat.
Staff with The Hospital of Central Connecticut, Connecticut Breast Health Initiative and Connecticut Breast and Cervical Cancer Early Detection Program will be available to answer questions and provide information.
The hospital is also sponsoring prostate cancer awareness day at the Rock Cats game June 10, 1:35 p.m. Giveaways and information will be available.
