Hospital Names Associate Chief of Pathology
New Britain [March 15 2007] -
Lisa A. Laird, M.D., of Unionville, has been named associate chief of Pathology at The Hospital of Central Connecticut.
Dr. Laird has been a pathologist at the hospital for 10 years. Before joining The Hospital of Central Connecticut, she was a pathologist at Windham Community Memorial Hospital.
Dr. Laird earned her medical degree from Louisiana State University School of Medicine. She completed a residency in surgery at New Britain General Hospital; a residency in anatomic pathology at the University of Connecticut School of Medicine; and a residency in clinical pathology at Hartford Hospital. Dr. Laird completed a fellowship in cytopathology at the University of Connecticut School of Medicine. She is board-certified in anatomic and clinical pathology.
