Stroke Program Coordinator named
New Britain [November 20 2006] -
Bonnie Boucher Archambault, BSN, MS, of Hebron has been named Stroke Program coordinator and clinical nurse specialist at The Hospital of Central Connecticut.
In her new position, Boucher Archambault will coordinate development of a Stroke Center, which will provide community education on identifying and preventing strokes; coordinate hospital specialists to promote stroke patients’ return to optimal level of function; and work with community agencies and facilities to ensure continuity of care for patients.
Boucher Archambault’s previous experience includes development of educational programs and lectures for stroke and cardiac support groups, insurance companies, assistive living facilities, senior centers and the general public.
Before joining the hospital, she worked at Visiting Nurse Health Services of CT in Vernon as manager of the Telehealth Program, a cardiac nurse specialist and manager and nurse case manager.
Boucher Archambault earned her bachelor’s degree in nursing from the University of Connecticut School of nursing and her master’s degree in health care management from the Hartford Graduate Center.
