Hospital of Central Connecticut makes medical staff appointments

New Britain [November 01 2006] - The Hospital of Central Connecticut’s board of directors has approved the following medical staff appointments:

Behavioral Health
John Nazarian, M.D., of West Hartford has been named associate attending physician with the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Health. He earned his medical degree from the University of Maryland School of Medicine, completed his residency at New York Hospital Westchester Division and his fellowship at Yale University School of Medicine (College of Mental Health). He is in practice at the hospital, (860) 224-5900, X2685.

Rekha Ranade-Kapur, M.D., of West Hartford has been named associate attending physician with the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Health. She earned her medical degree from the University of Bombay, completed her residency at the William Backus Hospital in Norwich, and her fellowship in psychiatry at the University of Connecticut School of Medicine. She is in practice in Wethersfield, (860) 721-7911.

Dale J. Wallington, M.D., of Hartford has been named associate attending physician with the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Health. He earned his medical degree from the University of Connecticut School of Medicine and completed his residency at Yale-New Haven Hospital. He is in practice in West Hartford, (860) 313-5380.

Amy Brown, M.D., of Glastonbury has been named associate attending physician with the Department of Medicine. She earned her medical degree from Tufts University School of Medicine, completed her residency at the University of Rochester and a fellowship in gynecologic oncology at Women’s and Infants’ Hospital of Rhode Island. Manny C. Katsetos, M.D., of Avon has been named associate attending physician with the Department of Medicine. He earned his medical degree from the University of Connecticut School of Medicine, completed his residency at the University of Connecticut School of Medicine and his fellowship in cardiology at Tufts New England Medical Center. Manju Mavanur, M.D., of West Hartford has been named assistant attending physician with the Department of Medicine.
