The Hospital of Central Connecticut now has the da Vinci
® robot system, which allows surgeons to perform minimally-invasive surgery in hard-to-reach areas. Robotic surgery can help patients to recover more quickly - often with fewer side effects - because incisions are tiny, and the robotic arms, controlled by a skilled surgeon, can work in much smaller spaces.
