Kristen Hickey is the hospital’s Stroke Program coordinator.
She earned her bachelor’s degree in nursing from the University of Connecticut and a master’s degree in nursing education from Southern Connecticut State University.
Before joining The Hospital of Central Connecticut she was an administrative supervisor at Waterbury Hospital and an adjunct professor of nursing for critical care at Quinnipiac University.
Her previous experience also includes having worked in critical care at St. Mary’s Hospital, Waterbury, and VNA Health at Home, Watertown.
