Gastroenterology is the area of medicine that deals with the diagnosis and treatment of conditions affecting organs that make up the digestive system.

Hepatology is the area of medicine concerned with diseases of the liver.

Specialists at The Hospital of Central Connecticut provide comprehensive evaluation and treatment of diseases of the digestive tract and liver.
