Hours
Radiology services are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week to inpatients at both hospital campuses.
Outpatient diagnostic services are also offered at the hospital campuses and other Central Connecticut locations.
Ordering Information
Written orders must include reason for exam; must be signed by the physician; and are required for all exams except screening mammograms.
Results
Routine radiology results are printed and delivered via courier, telephone, facsimile, or computer terminal.
Stat Results
Stat results are faxed to the appropriate locations, with a follow-up call to confirm receipt.
Critical Results
Critical results will be reported to the individual requesting the exam. When the result is given verbally, staff are required to read back and verify.
