Hospital of Central Connecticut patients can access their health information online
[February 20 2013] -
Patients of The Hospital of Central Connecticut (HOCC) and certain hospital physician practices can securely access their health information online with a new patient portal, MyHOCC.
MyHOCC complies with HIPAA patient privacy laws, and includes two components: A hospital portal and an online doctor's office portal.
With the hospital portal, patients can get their latest lab results; view lists of their medications and medical conditions; and review hospital discharge information. To sign up for the hospital portal, patients should bring a photo ID to The Hospital of Central Connecticut's Health Information Management (medical records) departments:
New Britain General campus, 100 Grand St., (860) 224-5686
Bradley Memorial campus, 81 Meriden Ave., Southington, (860) 276-5034/5036
The doctor's office portal is available for patients of Hospital of Central Connecticut practices, including the Hartford HealthCare Medical Group, Doctors of Central Connecticut and other HOCC providers. For a list of participating MyHOCC providers, visit www.thocc.org/patients. This portal allows patients to view their health profile, including recent lab results; request appointments and medication refills; and securely message their providers online. Patients may sign up for the portal at their participating doctor's office.
