Medical education

A teaching hospital affiliated with the University of Connecticut School of Medicine, The Hospital of Central Connecticut hosts UConn residents in primary care internal medicine, obstetrics / gynecology, surgery and several subspecialties.

Lectures and training

The Hospital of Central Connecticut regularly holds Grand Rounds for physicians, medical students and other staff members.

For Grand Rounds, The Hospital of Central Connecticut is accredited by the Connecticut State Medical Society to sponsor continuing medical education for physicians. The Hospital of Central Connecticut designates this educational activity for a maximum of 1 AMA PRA Category 1 credit(s)™ toward the AMA Physician's Recognition Award. Each physician should claim only those credits that he/she actually spent in the activity.

Health Sciences Library
