Comprehensive Health Care
The Hospital of Central Connecticut at New Britain General and Bradley Memorial is a 414-bed, 32 bassinet acute care community teaching hospital. It is also the cornerstone of a comprehensive health care system known as the Central Connecticut Health Alliance, which provides health care services across the continuum of care to the over 250,000 citizens of central Connecticut.
As a teaching hospital, The Hospital of Central Connecticut is affiliated with the University of Connecticut School of Medicine. We provide residency and fellowship training in:
- Internal Medicine
- Pulmonary/Critical Care Medicine
- General Surgery
- Podiatric Surgery
We also act as a clinical affiliation site for disciplines including nursing, physician assistant, radiation therapy, x-ray technology, physical therapy, exercise physiology, and social work, to name a few.
As a community hospital, The Hospital of Central Connecticut provides clinical care of the highest quality and comprehensive inpatient and outpatient services. In addition, we count among our staff an accomplished team of approximately 500 community-based physicians and over 3,000 employees.
