Position Duties:
  Responsible for the effective and efficient management of the non-clinical operations of the Central Region Department of Psychiatry & Behavioral Health. Oversee administrative operations and activities supporting the service line Director. Supervision of Support Staff, including development and communication of job responsibilities and performance expectations, employee discipline, performance appraisals, payroll procedures, employee schedules and time off requests. Maintains current knowledge of coding and billing issues specific to Inpatient and Outpatient Behavioral Health. Provides oversight to ensure revenue cycle policies and procedures are followed. Maintains current knowledge of managed care plans specific to patients serviced by Inpatient and Outpatient Behavioral Health. Works closely with the Director to ensure optimal coordination of clinical and administrative functions within the department and to achieve a high level of patient satisfaction. Keeps management apprised of significant personnel and operational issues. Effectively addresses concerns and resolves problems in a timely manner. Regularly documents issues, resolutions, strategies and initiatives. Performs disciplinary and coaching sessions as required. Analyzes data reports and acts on significant trends affecting overall effectiveness of the service line. Creates and maintains all department budgets. Evaluates workflow and performance to maximize productivity/efficiency and ensure quality service.
Educational Requirements:
  Bachelors degree in healthcare administration or similar field.
Minimum Requirements:
  Minimum of 5 years of practice management experience required.
Proficiency with an automated billing system required.
At least 2 years experience in a supervisory position required.
Experience with creating and maintaining of muliple budgets required.
Preferred Qualifications:
  Coding knowledge in the area of Psychiatry preferred.
Excellent interpersonal and oral and written communication skills required.
Candidate should demonstrate a high level of responsibility, experience and interest in the success of the operating areas.
Demonstrated leadership knowledge and development of staff.
Hours:
  9am-5:30pm - M-F
